byBec endeavours to consciously design and curate handmade collections to uplift the dancer in mind and body. By nurturing intentional thinking, byBec intends to inspire, nourish and improve dancers' wellbeing one garment at a time.

Equally byBec values the nourishment of our biodiverse planet. We acknowledge the Turrbal and Yugara people as the traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, and pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging as they continue cultural and spiritual connections to Country.

Behind the Brand

Since retiring from ballet, I have been searching for ways to reconnect with joy and self expression. I picked up my very first sewing machine in 2022, and have not looked back.

Sewing has been a branch between myself and ballet which I could not have foreseen. Working with fabric, and understanding what goes into the making of a garment has been a beautiful and humbling experience (as I still have much to learn). With time, my brand was founded in 2023.

byBec embodies so many of my learnings and is truly an extension of my work in healthcare. Garments are handmade by myself and produced in limited quantities, using high quality material. Each piece may take up to three days to sew, a delicate and demanding process.

My vision is to uplift you in mind and body and support you on your journey of nourishment to optimal health.
